Amazon Consolidation Pantry Inside New Store In India, Two Hour Delivery Offered To Customers

Amazon is planning to integrate its Pantry services within its new store in India. So far, Amazon Pantry and Amazon Fresh have been two separate categories within the app or website. While the former included very dry food, bulk groceries, and super-saver packages, the latter contained items that could be delivered to customers on a short notice, including daily, perishable food and household products. Amazon on Friday announced that the Pantry will be integrated into the Fresh store in the next few weeks.

It should be noted that this service will only be available in cities where the Fresh service is available. Amazon has told the media that new information will be introduced to customers in Ahmedabad, Bangladuru, Delhi and Msore in the next two weeks. The integration will reach customers in other cities where Fresh is available in the coming months. Nationwide, Amazon Pantry will continue to operate as it did before.

The integration will help customers enjoy a simplified shopping experience, says Amazon. Previously, customers used to pack items in their cart that would be split between Pantry and Fresh, which could lead to different delivery times for different products depending on the store. Now, you can expect to order anything from food to animal products and deliver at the same time.

Customers can also choose a free two-hour delivery for all orders over Rs. 600. In the case of orders under that amount, an additional delivery fee of Rs. 29 will be charged. Customers can also arrange their delivery by choosing from the many spaces available from 6am to midnight.

Integration will be available on the Amazon app and desktop or mobile website.
